The Opportunity

Inspired by our Yatte Minahare spirit, which encourages us to dream big, Suntory Oceania has recently built a $400 million new state of the art manufacturing & distribution facility in Swanbank, Ipswich that is highly automated and has sustainability and a carbon neutral ambition, aligning with our Growing for Good philosophy.

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader, to play a key role the production of our multi-beverage portfolio. In this position you will lead a team of highly skilled Manufacturing Specialists to craft beverages that delight our consumers.

You will successfully coach the team in the execution of our manufacturing plan and champion a team culture of continuous improvement in safety, quality, efficiency and autonomous maintenance, leveraging Best Practice as the basis for everything that we do.

What You'll Do

We are looking for someone who is passionate about leading, mentoring and developing others, enabling our teams to achieve our business requirements. To achieve this the focus will be on:

Leading the competency and capability development of our Manufacturing Specialists.

Manage performance & development of team in accordance with the people cycle.

Ensures process areas meet or exceed company, food safety standards, GMP and HACCP

Experience that you will bring

As well as a positive ‘can-do’ attitude you will also bring:
Experience in FMCG manufacturing or relevant industry in a frontline leadership capacity.

Experience in training and mentoring team members.

Lean manufacturing industry experience.

Excellent computer IS literacy / capability Incl. ERP & Scada experience.

Relevant qualification, I.e. Certificate IV or similar in frontline leadership or warehouse management.
