The Team & Role
Join Bayside Health’s dedicated Subacute Occupational Therapy team as a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist, commencing at Rosebud Hillview Ward with opportunities to rotate across a range of inpatient subacute settings. This role offers the chance to build broad clinical expertise while working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team committed to person-centred care and safe, timely discharge planning. You will provide advanced occupational therapy assessment, intervention and discharge planning for patients with diverse needs, including NDIS-related support, while also contributing to clinical leadership, supervision, service improvement and evidence-based practice across the service.

Skills & Experience Required
Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (via AHPRA)
Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
Advanced ability to assess occupational performance considering physical, cognitive and psychosocial aspects of the person and their environment and determine appropriate intervention in the subacute inpatient setting.
Advanced ability to participate in multidisciplinary team work and discharge planning activities, with a strong commitment to the development and maintenance of positive workplace behaviours and relationships
Demonstrated competence in the area of assessments and recommendations for complex assistive technology and home modifications.
Demonstrated competence in the area of occupational therapy assessment and intervention for patients with a range of neurological and medical conditions, with a strong commitment to multidisciplinary team based approaches
Understanding of NDIS processes and requirements
