LV FITTER - BDSA

BDS Mechanical is seeking a qualified and motivated Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in a full-time, permanent role servicing multiple sites across the Roma and Chinchilla regions. BDS Mechanical Repairs Aus is a fast-growing provider of mechanical, auto-electrical, and welding services, supporting customers across Queensland and Western Australia. With a fleet of more than 160 mobile service units, we deliver dependable on-site and workshop-based solutions across an operational footprint exceeding 600,000 km². The successful candidates will possess the following:

Relevant Trade Qualification
Diagnostic experience
Good communication skills
LV, 4X4, Ute experience
Have own tools
Heavy rigid license
Strong fault finding skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Extra skills, experience, tickets and licenses will be advantageous

Your duties will include:

Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
General Repairs/maintenance works on LVs, 4x4s, Utes
Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
Checking vehicle lighting systems
Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
