The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced chef to take on the role as Latitude 32’s Chef. The Chef is responsible for all departments of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Produce and maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
Ensure menus, food standards, procedures and processes are followed.
Maximise profitable food revenue in the restaurant's food, function and bar areas.
Assist Head Chef with the organising and implementation of food service.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers
Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
Food Safety Plan.
Develop collaborative relationships with our managers to provide quality food and prompt service to our customers.
Costing & stock taking experience.
Knowledge about HACCP and OHS Compliance & maintain correct food safety procedures.

Your strengths will be demonstrated in your ability to:

An experienced Chef, ideally with at least 2 years in a Chef role
Proven experience in a similar role preferably developed within a high standard Kitchen environment
Experienced in all aspects of the Kitchen operations and administration
An ability to lead, motivate and develop a high-performance team
Demonstrated financial acumen, especially in managing food
A passion for creating a high-quality product
Proven performance in the management of safe food and hygiene (HACCP) practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

You must be either an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or valid visa to apply for this position with existing work entitlements for full time employment in Australia.
