About the Opportunity
The Business Process Analyst strengthens governance integrity, operational consistency, and assurance across a complex multi-program defence environment by analysing, designing, documenting, and continuously improving business processes that support compliant, traceable, and efficient program delivery.
Operating within the Program Governance Office, the role integrates governance, quality, security, and records discipline into structured process frameworks and controlled documentation, enabling reliable execution, audit readiness, and evidence-based decision-making across programs and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and optimise business processes across programs
- Develop and maintain governance documentation and process artefacts
- Embed quality, compliance, and assurance controls in processes
- Support audits through evidence management and process compliance
- Drive continuous improvement and governance maturity uplift
- Engage stakeholders to validate and implement standard processes
About You
- Experience in business process mapping and optimisation
- Skilled in developing clear, controlled documentation
- Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and assurance
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Effective stakeholder engagement across complex environments
- Knowledge of document control, records, and information security
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
