EXPERIENCED PREP COOK / KITCHEN HAND
Winnie’s Bakehouse – Rockingham
We’re looking for an experienced Prep Cook / Kitchen Hand to join our kitchen team at Winnie’s Bakehouse.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role suited to someone who can work cleanly, quickly and independently while keeping quality and consistency high.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You’ll be helping with day-to-day kitchen prep and service support including:
- Food preparation and portioning
- Basic cooking and assembly
- Washing dishes and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Restocking and organising kitchen areas
- Assisting chefs and kitchen leadership team
- Following food safety and cleaning procedures
- Helping maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen flow
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen is essential
- Someone reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure
- Fast worker with good attention to detail
- Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
- Able to follow systems and instructions consistently
- Good personal hygiene and food handling practices
- Experience with prep-heavy kitchens, bakeries or cafes
- Food Safety Certificate
- Early morning availability
