BUSHkids is a not-for-profit organisation that has been at the heart of transforming lives of regional children across Queensland for 90 years. Our highly dedicated teams and volunteers are all driven by a shared vision that all children should have access to free allied health services regardless of where they live.
As an Administration Officer at BUSHkids Rockhampton, you will play a key role in supporting our Early Childhood Approach (ECA) service as an NDIS community partner. Our service supports children up to 6 years with developmental delay, and up to 9 years with disability, and their families across the local region.
Working alongside a team of Early Intervention Facilitators and clinical staff you will be a first point of contact for our service, providing a warm and welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include phone/reception, managing emails, client data and referrals, supporting and coordinating appointments and therapy resources, outreach activities, preparing agendas and minutes along with general office support. You will bring a strong service-delivery mindset, working collaboratively to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and service improvement.

About You
- Previous experience in a senior administrative role, ideally within a highly regulated service environment would be highly desirable
- Flexible and adaptable nature who brings warmth and a positive energy
- Strong administration and organisational skills with a high attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Highly professional approach, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Proactive team player with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement
- Alignment with BUSHkids core values – Child-Focused and Family Centred, Collaborative and Accountable
- Valid Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain before commencement)
- Current C Class Drivers’ Licence
- Evidence of Hepatitis B vaccination status
