You will be part of a collaborative Workforce and Organisational Capability team that values connected teams and continuous improvement, ensuring our internal hiring managers are supported every step of the way.

Recruitment Services is a vital hub within the Workforce and Organisational Capability team at Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service. Operating under a centre-led model, we partner with hiring managers across our regional, rural, and remote networks to streamline advertising and onboarding operations. Our focus is on building connected, capable workforces that empower our teams to deliver amazing care to Central Queensland communities.
About the role:
Lead, mentor, and provide day-to-day professional guidance to a team of Recruitment Advisors and Officers.
Lead and be accountable for all recruitment advertising, ensuring efficiency, quality, and public sector policy compliance.
Provide expert operational talent acquisition and resource advice to hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
Apply innovative and contemporary approaches to sourcing practices to support high-volume recruitment activities.
Monitor, analyse, and report on recruitment performance, turnaround times, and workload trends to drive continuous improvement.
About you:
You bring proven expertise in providing expert talent acquisition advice and implementing effective recruitment strategies.
You have demonstrated experience leading end-to-end, high-volume recruitment functions within large or complex organisations.
You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate performance data and track workload trends.
You display excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and support diverse stakeholders.
You demonstrate high-level organisational and prioritisation skills, comfortably managing competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $12,731 p.m. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $63.04 - $67.53 p.h.
12.75% employer superannuation contribution
