Full Job Description

Commercial Electrician – Mine Site RecommissioningMount Morgan, QLD | 2:1 Roster | 6-Month Contract

CMTL Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to join a major Mine Site Recommissioning Project at Mount Morgan, Queensland.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the restoration and recommissioning of a historic mining operation, working on critical infrastructure and electrical systems as the site returns to operation.

Key Responsibilities

Installation, testing and commissioning of commercial and industrial electrical systems
Recommissioning of site infrastructure and facilities
Cable tray, conduit and cable installation
Switchboard and distribution board installation and maintenance
Fault finding and troubleshooting
Testing and commissioning activities
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures

Requirements

Current Electrical Licence
Construction White Card
Current CPR/LVR
Experience in commercial, industrial or mining environments
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Current Driver's Licence

Highly Desirable

Working at Heights
EWP Licence
Confined Space
Mining or heavy industrial experience
Previous commissioning or recommissioning experience
