Robinvale District Health Services (RDHS) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing to provide clinical and operational leadership across our Manangatang and Riverside Campuses.
This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished nursing leader whois passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care while leadingmultidisciplinary teams across two rural healthcare settings.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Nursing, the Director ofNursing will provide strategic, clinical and operational leadership across boththe Manangatang and Riverside Campuses.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday, on-site leadership position that requires a visible and hands-on presence across both campuses. The successful applicant will work closely with clinical teams, executive leadership and key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality and person-centred care.
You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of nursingservices, supporting Nurse Unit Managers and multidisciplinary teams, drivingclinical governance and quality improvement initiatives, and ensuringcompliance with relevant legislation and accreditation standards.
KeyResponsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across the Manangatang and Riverside Campuses.
- Lead and support Nurse Unit Managers and multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent clinical and operational outcomes.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care across acute, residential aged care and community services.
- Champion clinical governance, quality improvement and accreditation activities.
- Monitor clinical performance, risk management and incident response.
- Drive workforce engagement, performance management and staff development.
- Support organisational planning, service innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with staff, consumers, families and key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, professional standards and organisational policies.
About You
You are an experienced nursing leader with a collaborative leadershipstyle and a passion for rural healthcare.
You will bring:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Health or Gerontology.
- Demonstrated senior leadership and operational management experience within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality improvement and accreditation standards.
- Exceptional communication, leadership and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire teams across multiple sites.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable
- Experience working within rural health services.
- Experience in residential aged care.
- Postgraduate qualifications in management or leadership.
