The Opportunity

You will be part of a high performing and highly regarded family law team working towards collective success. Your responsibilities will include:

Confidently and efficiently managing a varied workload of interesting and complex family law matters with little or no supervision;
Assisting senior family lawyers in larger and more complex matters;
Drafting court documents, agreements, advices and correspondence;
Appearing at court, mediations and settlement conferences; and
Maintaining a professional presentation at all times.

About You

To be successful in this position we are looking for an enthusiastic, driven lawyer with:

A minimum of 3+ years post-admission experience in all aspects of family law matters including complex property, children and parenting matters and divorce;
The ability to work autonomously (with supervision where necessary) to a high level and manage client requirements and expectations;
Exceptional communication and writing skills, advocacy and attention to detail;
Commercial acumen with an understanding of business;
The ability to liaise and communicate competently with clients and all parties;
A positive attitude, be a team player and a genuine interest in professional development; and
The ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
