About Nova

Nova Dental Group is one of Australia's fastest-growing dental organisations, supporting a network of clinics across the country. As we continue to expand through both organic growth and acquisitions, we're looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant to join our Finance team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, contribute to strategic business decisions and play a key role in supporting the financial performance of a rapidly growing healthcare organisation. The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting, analysing business performance and partnering with stakeholders across the business.

This is a hands-on role that combines technical accounting with commercial analysis, giving you exposure to strategic projects, acquisitions and continuous process improvement initiatives.

About You

You'll be someone who enjoys understanding the "why" behind the numbers and can confidently translate financial information into meaningful business insights.

Ideally you'll have:

Previous experience as a Management Accountant or Financial Accountant
CPA or CA qualification (or currently working towards completion)
Strong financial reporting and month-end accounting experience across multiple entities
Responsible for preparing & filing BAS Returns
Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability
Cashflow forecasting and management experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
The ability to build relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the business
Experience within healthcare or multi-site organisations is highly regarded
Exposure to mergers and acquisitions or business integration projects is advantageous
