Customer Service Cashier (Casual/Temporary)

IGA Currumbin Waters is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Customer Service Cashier to join our team on a casual basis. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
Operate checkout registers accurately and process customer transactions.
Assist customers with enquiries and product locations.
Replenish stock and maintain attractive, well-organised displays.
Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and presented to a high standard.
Support team members across various departments as required.
Follow all store procedures, safety standards, and company policies.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Reliability, punctuality, and a professional presentation.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A willingness to learn and undertake a variety of store duties.
Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.

No previous retail experience is necessary—full training will be provided. We welcome applicants who are eager to learn and committed to providing outstanding service.
