About the opportunity

Responsible for the coordination and implementation of the quality program throughout all areas of the service.

Coordinating improvement in patient care and safety whilst providing leadership, support and training to all staff in the quality system.

Responsible for the development, implementation, education and evaluation of effective Infection Control standards – acting as a role model providing leadership and clinical practice.

Operate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure a highly responsive and flexible service to both internal and external health care providers.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

Registered Nurse with registration with APHRA
-
Postgraduate qualification in or working towards qualification in Infection Control or equivalent are highly desirable.

Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.

Accredited Nurse Immunizer Certificate.
-
Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.

A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
-
The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
