About the Role
Working from our Bayswater North factory, you'll be involved in the fabrication and installation of Kitchen benchtops, Waterfalls, Splashbacks, Vanities, Fireplaces, Outdoor kitchens, custom curves when required. This is a hands-on role requiring a high level of craftsmanship and technical skill. You will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and repairing natural and manufactured stone across a variety of construction and renovation projects, while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
What You'll Be Doing
- Reading plans, production paperwork and installation drawings
- Operating stone fabrication machinery
- Carry out accurate site measurements when required
- Edge polishing and profiling
- Mitre joins and laminations
- Sink and cooktop cut-outs
- Quality checking finished products
- Preparing jobs for installation
- Install stone benchtops safely and professionally
- Work safely and follow company procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant worksite at all times
- Completion and finish to a high standard
- Communicate professionally with builders, cabinet makers and homeowners
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a stonemason or stone fabricator or installer
- Experience with natural stone, porcelain and manufactured stone
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Pride in producing high-quality work
- Reliable, punctual and motivated
- Forklift or overhead crane experience is an advantage but not essential (or willingness to be trained)
- Must have or be willing to obtain a White Card
- Must have or be willing to obtain driver's licence
