The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to help shape the next era of content at Reece. We’re building a best-in-class in-house content studio—and we’re looking for a Senior Content & Copy Specialist to help define how one of Australia’s most recognisable trade brands shows up, tells stories and connects with customers across every channel.
You won’t just write copy—you’ll shape ideas, set creative standards and turn strategy into standout content that earns attention and delivers impact. Where our Editorial function defines what we say and how it’s governed , this role is focused on how it comes to life —through sharp storytelling, strong creative execution and standout craft.
Working closely with the studio’s designers, content creators and Reece’s broader marketing team, you’ll help bring big ideas to life across digital, social, web, email, video, campaign and branch channels—creating work that connects with both trade and retail customers, strengthens the Reece brand and drives real commercial outcomes.
What you’ll do
This is a hands-on creative leadership role where you’ll:
- Lead the creation of standout content across digital, social, web, email, video, campaign and more
- Shape Reece’s tone and voice through clear, distinctive storytelling that customers remember
- Find fresh ways to collaborate with influencers, trade experts and internal teams to create content with credibility and cut-through
- Experiment with new formats, channels and tools—including AI—to grow reach and engage new audiences
- Mentor content creators and help lift craft, creativity and quality across the studio
- Partner with brand, creative, design, channel and business teams to deliver integrated content that moves customers to act
About you
You’re a sharp creative thinker, confident writer and natural storyteller who knows how to turn insight into content people actually want to read, watch and share.
You’ll bring:
- Strong experience in content, copywriting, creative, publishing or production environments
- The confidence to lead ideas, guide others and raise the standard of creative work
- A strong understanding of how great content flexes across channels, audiences and formats
- Comfort using creative and production tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and emerging AI platforms
- Knowledge of SEO, audience growth and performance, with a focus on meaningful impact over vanity metrics
- Strong brand instincts and the ability to connect creativity to customer and business outcomes
