Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tradesman Carpenter for an immediate start to work on various construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of timber and other materials
Responsibilities:
- Construct, repair, and install structures and fixtures made of timber , timber substitutes, and other materials
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and diagrams
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials
- Assemble and install cabinets, shelving, and other fixtures
- Work safely and follow all safety regulations
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and laborers
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
- Valid trade qualification (Certificate III in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and work at heights
