About the Role
Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, the Rostering Officer is an important part of the backbone of the Brighton facility. You will be responsible for building and maintaining accurate, compliant staff rosters that ensure our residents receive the right care, at the right time, from the right people — every single shift, every single day.
This is a fast paced, problem solving role. Rostering in aged care can be complex — you are balancing mandatory care minute requirements, staff availability, leave, qualifications, skill mix and last-minute changes all at once, often under time pressure. You will need to think fast, communicate clearly and stay calm when things change suddenly. And they will. There is plenty of support to get you up and running, the opportunity to learn our system and the pathway to become a skilled, technical rostering person.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain accurate staff rosters forcare, administration and environmental services
- Ensure rosters meet mandatory care minute requirements and compliance obligations at all times
- Manage shift vacancies — sourcing cover efficiently ideally from internal staff
- Maintain the leave calendar and process leave requests accurately
- Respond to roster and payroll queries from staff in a timely and professional manner and escalate as needed
About You
Essential:
- Demonstrated experience in administration,data entry and customer service
- Rostering experience — ideally in aged care, health or a similarly complex environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with rostering systems
- Police Check

About the Role
Reporting to the Quality and Capability Manager, this role will play a key role in preparing Mayflower for recertification, strengthening clinical governance, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and building workforce capability through the ongoing development of Mayflower Academy.
Working closely with operational leaders, you will drive audit and accreditation readiness, oversee incident and complaints governance, coordinate quality reporting, and support the implementation of the Aged Care Act 2024 and the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards. You will play a pivotal role in embedding a culture of quality, safety, leading the development and ongoing maturity of Mayflower Academy, establishing a contemporary organisational learning culture that promotes workforce capability, accountability and continuous improvement across the organisation.

About the Role
Reporting to the Care Manager, the Endorsed Enrolled Nurse plays a key role in delivering high-quality clinical and personal care to residents while supporting Registered Nurses and providing guidance to Personal Care Assistants.
We are seeking people who can work on Mondays and Fridays each week. This is a permanent part time position.
You will work closely with residents, families and the broader care team to ensure residents receive care that promotes independence, wellbeing and quality of life. You will also contribute to care planning, medication management and clinical documentation while maintaining compliance with aged care standards and legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, effective and person-centred nursing care.
Administer medications within scope of practice and organisational policies.
Monitor resident health and wellbeing and report changes appropriately.
Assist with the development, implementation and review of care plans.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting.
Support residents to achieve their goals and maintain independence.
Provide guidance and support to Personal Care Assistants.
Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and families.
Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policies.
About You
You are a caring and motivated nursing professional who enjoys building meaningful relationships and making a positive impact on the lives of older people.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current AHPRA registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse.
Strong clinical and assessment skills and medical endorsement.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team with strong organisational and time management skills
Understanding of person-centred care principles.
Commitment to delivering high-quality resident outcomes.
Essential Requirements
Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Medication Endorsed).
Ability to work across a rotating roster with an emphasis on Monday and Friday shifts.
Desirable
Previous experience in Residential Aged Care.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards.
Experience using electronic clinical management systems.
