About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Professional Client Consultant to support client engagement, communication and business development activities within a professional education and development environment.
This opportunity is suited to an experienced professional who enjoys building relationships, conducting structured conversations, understanding client objectives and working independently within established systems and processes.
The role is fully remote and provides flexibility in how you organise your working schedule and manage your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to enquiries from prospective clients
- Conduct structured introductory and consultation conversations
- Understand client goals, needs and objectives
- Provide accurate information about relevant education and professional development programs
- Maintain professional communication and follow-up with prospective clients
- Manage client records and workflow using digital systems
- Maintain accurate and timely activity records
- Participate in professional training and development
- Follow established systems, processes and compliance requirements
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a client-facing, consulting, business development, sales, education, training, customer service or related professional role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional and confident communication style
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Comfortable using online communication and digital platforms
- Ability to follow established processes and systems
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills

Compensation & Engagement
This is an independent contractor opportunity, rather than an employee position.
Compensation is performance-based, with remuneration determined by the agreed contractor arrangement and the outcomes generated through the role.
There is no fixed salary, hourly wage, paid leave or employee benefits associated with this independent arrangement.
Full details regarding the contractor relationship, compensation structure, responsibilities and expectations will be provided before any engagement is entered into.
