ARH PROJECTS Pty Ltd(previously precision consulting management) is construction service marketplace which connects builders with the country’s best estimators to prepare quality takeoffs and cost estimates.Due to expanding, we currently need a few quantity surveyors.
Our clients subscribe to our estimation service and send us construction plans for which they want us prepare takeoffs and estimates. When we have projects for you, we'll let you know. If you have time, you can accept and get paid by the hour! If you're busy or you just feel like taking the day off, no worries, you can turn down the project! We’ll send you other projects at a later time.
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing accurate cost advice to clients;
- Pricing of estimates, cost plans and BOQ's;
- Completion of complex trade and elemental take-off;
- Assist in VM preparation;
- Measuring quantities for variations;
- Undertake site visit and complete valuations of work complete on site;
- Preparation of cash flows;
- Amend / update / reconcile Cost Reports;
- Undertake cost analysis and writing of monthly reports;
- Review financing agreements / understanding of funding arrangements;
- Ability to meet and manage clients and other professional consultants;
- Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies;
- Maintain ongoing client communication and resolve issues expeditiously;
- Ability to use appropriate software and technology e.g. MS Office; Buildsoft and Cost X
Job Requirements:
- Expertise and accreditation in Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.
- Minimum 5 year's Quantity Surveying experience
- Membership in an approved Professional Body - preferred (eg. AIQS, RICS, CIOB);
- Advanced knowledge of the local construction industry including development, contracting and consulting sectors;
- Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty and ethics;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated skills in client file management, planning and organisation.

Pay: $54,218.54 – $167,895.07 per year
