About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Software Engineer (GenAI & Automation) to take ownership of designing, developing, and deploying breakthrough AI-powered automation solutions for enterprise clients. This role sits at the cutting edge of Generative AI and intelligent automation, where you’ll collaborate with a diverse team of innovators pushing the boundaries of technology every day. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in Python and Microsoft Azure with a consulting mindset, strong communication skills, and a relentless curiosity for emerging GenAI capabilities. The role offers a clear path to career growth alongside a fast-scaling company delivering real-world impact at the intersection of AI and enterprise automation.
Duties include but are not limited to;
Lead Innovation
Design, develop, and maintain advanced Generative AI and automation systems that revolutionise operational efficiency for enterprise clients. Tailor GenAI frameworks for specific client use cases, implementing advanced techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Vector Search to solve complex business challenges.
Accelerate Development
Build highly reusable, modular libraries and frameworks to speed up solution deployment, cutting development time and delivering client value faster. Leverage modern tooling including GitHub and Azure DevOps to ensure seamless collaboration, version control, and deployment pipelines.
Define Best Practices
Establish standards and reusable patterns that drive technical excellence across multiple client engagements. Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and uplift the wider engineering team through code reviews, documentation, and mentoring.
Solution Ownership
Produce clear, comprehensive solution design documents that bring client projects to life. Work within Agile frameworks — engaging in user stories, sprint planning, and retrospectives — to design and deliver solutions grounded in real client needs.
Iterate Fast
Troubleshoot, debug, and refine intelligent solutions to solve real-world challenges at enterprise scale. Take ownership of issues end-to-end, from root-cause analysis through to production deployment.
Stay Ahead
Continuously update your knowledge on the latest GenAI developments and integrate new innovations into client solutions. Evaluate emerging models, frameworks, and Azure AI Services to keep our offering at the leading edge.
Requirements and skills
- Strong proficiency in Python and the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, including Azure AI Services (Form Recognizer, Custom Vision), with proven experience building and deploying scalable solutions
- Hands-on experience implementing Generative AI techniques such as RAG and Vector Search for production use cases
- Hands-on experience with modern development tools including GitHub and Azure DevOps
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile frameworks, delivering against user stories, sprint commitments and client outcomes
- Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent proven technical foundation
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical solutions for client audiences
- A growth mindset — relentlessly curious, with a drive to learn, improve, and evolve
Highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services (Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps) or equivalent frameworks (Python Flask, Node.js)
- Familiarity with Azure Data Services (Synapse, Data Factory, Azure Databricks) or other machine learning tooling
- Consulting experience working alongside top-tier strategy firms to deliver high-value, time-critical outcomes
- Containerisation experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies
- Front-end development experience using React or similar frameworks
