Full Job Description

Are you an experienced and motivated senior medical receptionist looking for a rewarding carrier?

We are a new, specialist-led paediatric allergy and immunology clinic, founded by a passionate and diverse group of specialists. Our mission is to provide exceptional care to children and their families in a supportive and welcoming environment.

This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the growth and success of a new specialist centre in the role of senior medical receptionist.

Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day operations of the clinic.
- Leading, mentoring, and guiding junior administrative staff.
- Managing all aspects of patient billing, including private and Medicare claims.
- Performing financial reconciliation and reporting.
- Fostering excellent customer relations and ensuring a high-quality patient experience.
- Managing clinic schedules, appointments, and patient flow.
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Liaising with clinicians, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
- Australian work rights are required for this position.

What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a medical or specialist setting.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience is required for this role.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian medical billing practices, including Medicare.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a high degree of professionalism.
- Proficiency with medical practice management software.
