The role:
To manage a portfolio of disputed recoveries files within Recovery & Settlements Department, whilst achieving cost effective and quality claims handling through robust relationships with internal and external service providers.
Responsibilities

Investigating and resolving disputes across both the insured and uninsured disputed claims.

Providing recommendations on how individual claims should be resolved

Dealing with inbound queries from third parties and clients on relevant claims

The ability to explain to third parties why we are holding them liable &; help them understand the reasons behind our decision

Providing a point of reference to other consultants on related matters
What are we looking for?
-
18 months – 2 years' experience in recoveries and/or settlements
-
Background in debt collection, litigation, or legal claims environments
-
Experience working with lawyer panels, other insurers, and exchange of lists
-
Knowledge of road rules and driver responsibilities

Comfortable with inbound and outbound call centre work
-
High care approach — including customers experiencing financial hardship
