Full Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and organised Assistant Property Manager to join our growing real estate team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in property management while working alongside an experienced Senior Property Manager.

This is a casual position to start, with the potential to transition into a part-time role based on performance and business needs.

This is not a traditional office-based role. You will be required to be on-site at properties for inspections, viewings, and tenant interactions, as well as complete some administrative tasks which can be done from home or remotely.

You will support the day-to-day management of residential rental properties and act as a key point of contact for tenants and landlords. You will work closely with our Senior Property Manager to ensure smooth operations across our property portfolio.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Assisting with onboarding new tenants and lease sign-ups
Acting as the first point of contact for tenant enquiries and maintenance requests
Coordinating and attending inspections (including weekends and occasionally weekdays)
Conducting ingoing, routine, and outgoing inspections and inspection reporting
Assisting with property viewings and open homes
Supporting general inspection reporting and documentation
Assisting with lease renewals and tenancy documentation
Completing general property management administration tasks (some remote work available)
Working closely with the Senior Property Manager to ensure compliance and high-quality service delivery

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly organised and detail-oriented
Strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working both independently and within a team
Available to attend inspections and viewings on weekends when required
Previous property management experience is preferred but not essential (training can be provided for the right candidate)
A real estate certificate
