We are currently seeking a receptionist to join our Paediatric Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and Physiotherapy Practice in Randwick. The position would suit a motivated candidate looking to work in a friendly, allied health team based setting three to four days a week (we're flexible!) to start in early to mid September 2026.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently interact with patients from diverse backgrounds, ages and personalities in person and over the phone.
- An ability to manage competing priorities and multi-task.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to be able to manage a busy and diverse workload across all areas of office administration.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and client management software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
- The ability to provide high quality reception and administrative services to our clients and therapists at the practice professionally, effectively and efficiently.
- Be self-motivated, take initiative, plan ahead, problem solve, work unsupervised and enjoy autonomy with the willingness to take ownership of the role and the tasks you are given.
- Minimum 12 months medical reception experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Management of day to day general administrative duties of the practice such as: filing, scanning, emailing, management of correspondence.
- Meeting and greeting clients.
- Answering incoming calls, management of enquiries, referrals and messages.
- Scheduling of client appointments, including cancelling and re-scheduling.
- Data entry of client details into our system.
- Maintenance of client records/paper files including filing and scanning to maintain a “paperless office”.
- Invoicing for services, handling and receipting payment as required.
- Daily end of day bank reconciliation as required.
- Effectively and efficiently manage clinic and clients so that the practice runs smoothly.
- Cleaning of workspace and items in therapy rooms as required.
- Working with the team to organise holiday groups and on other projects.
- Ensuring the smooth running of the practice.
What's Highly Desirable:
-Knowledge of the NDIS, Medicare Billing and private Health billing.
-Experience with using Cliniko
Remuneration is in accordance with experience.
