An exciting opportunity exists for a Human Resources Generalist to join our Devonport manufacturing site. Supporting a workforce of 350+ employees, you'll partner with leaders across diverse functions and contribute to a wide range of HR initiatives that impact the site.
Working closely with the site HR Manager, this role offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your HR capability, build strong stakeholder relationships and gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle.
- Manage employee queries relating to payroll, HR policies and procedures

Manage employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, transfers and offboarding

Partner with leaders and employees across the site to provide practical HR advice

Support employee performance management and workplace investigations
-
Support Enterprise Agreement negotiation activities
-
Support site change initiatives, communications and site projects
-
Collaborate with Payroll and specialist HR teams
-
Maintain HR systems and employee records, ensuring compliance with legislative and business requirements

Identify process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
-
3–5 years' experience in a HR, People & Culture or related people-focused function
-
Exposure to employee and industrial relations matters
-
Experience interpreting Awards and/or Enterprise Agreements
-
Working knowledge of HR systems (SAP SuccessFactors highly regarded)
-
Exposure to payroll or timekeeping systems is advantageous
-
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
-
A collaborative, adaptable and relationship-focused approach
-
A genuine commitment to safety, wellbeing and continuous improvement
