Be involved in a diverse range of Metricon construction projects with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail. As a Trainee Site Manager you will be trained and responsible for managing and independently running the operations of a busy site. A focus to delivering defect-free results are essential. You will play an exciting part in supervising and coordinating the construction of your homes and ensure that trades meet quality, timelines and OH&S objective.

Come to work each day to be yourself and get paid for what you love to do being Site Management and building our customer's dream homes in and around the Taigum and surrounding areas.

Reporting to the Building Support Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

Be the primary point of contact for clients during the build stage of the project and be responsible for the overall execution and quality finish of homes
Managing the overall site performance of our home construction process
Partner with your Construction Manager and go through each of your jobs on your Clickhomes and be supportive to you
Maximising site production by ensuring sub contract trade availability
Scheduling and meeting trades on site
Proactively resolving build issues, liaising with your clients
Continuously reviewing building practices and procedures
Ensuring compliance with and delivery of established cost management and project management practices; and
Fostering a positive and focused culture where customer service and teamwork is paramount.
Ensure build qualities are to the highest standard; and
Hand over your customers keys and settlement pack to your customer. No better feeling

The successful candidate will have:

Completion of relevant tertiary education e.g. Building/Construction Diploma or of trade/building background
Experience (3+ years) in the building industry (preferable in the volume new home environment)
Customer Service
An understanding of building regulations
Knowledge of project management systems; and
Previous experience working with and implementing quality assurance systems to Australian standards.

This role requires a national police check and medical check to be undertaken to the successful applicant.
