About the School

Camp Hill State Infants and Primary School is a well-established primary school in Brisbane, providing education for students from Prep to Year 6 across a junior and senior campus. The school offers a supportive, inclusive and community-focused learning environment, with strong partnerships between staff, families and the wider community, and a commitment to engaging, future-focused learning for every student.

About the Role

Responsibilities include:

Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.
Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.
Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces.
Disposal of rubbish and litter control including removal of material from drains and gutters between and/or surrounding buildings.
Dusting including student and office furniture, equipment and fans.

About You

Moderate level of physical capability
Commitment to following Workplace Health and Safety procedures
Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
Time management skills with the ability to follow schedules
Reliable and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in a school or commercial cleaning environment is desirable but not essential (full training provided)
Ability to work flexible split shifts before and after school hours is essential
