Full Job Description

Casual position | 10–20 hours per week

Pepperjack Sandwiches is a busy independent sandwich restaurant in South Brisbane. We prepare fresh sandwiches to order and aim to provide fast, friendly service in a welcoming team environment.

We are looking for reliable casual team members who enjoy working with customers and can stay calm, friendly and accurate during busy periods.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

Greeting customers and taking orders
Preparing sandwiches quickly and accurately
Restocking ingredients and preparing the service line
Cleaning work areas, equipment and the dining area
Working closely with teammates during busy lunch periods
Following food-safety and store procedures

The role involves standing for most of the shift and moving quickly during peak periods.

What We’re Looking For

You do not need previous hospitality experience. We provide training.

You will need to be:

Friendly and comfortable speaking with customers
Able to communicate clearly in English when taking orders and working with teammates
Comfortable working quickly and accurately in a busy environment
Reliable, punctual and dependable
Willing to clean, restock and help wherever needed
Available for approximately 2-3 shifts each week

Please only apply if you can reliably travel to our South Brisbane store for rostered shifts, including shifts starting as early as 10am or finishing as late as 9:30pm.
