Full Job Description

We’re calling all passionate Physiotherapists (full registration) to join our experienced Residential Age Care team in a locum position.

Dates: 2 weeks 30/3-10/4 (not including public holidays)
Rockhampton
Attractive hourly rate + Super + Accommodation package!

Are you motivated to learn and continue to grow your clinical skills? Are you passionate about making a real difference working with the elderly? If you are enthusiastic, and willing to learn, this is the perfect role for you!

What’s involved in this role?

Chronic disease and injury management
Manual handling and functional assessments Initial assessments
Clinical referrals
Fall prevention, risk management and education
Equipment prescription
Exercise Programs and Re-enablement services
Attending Clinical meetings and case conferences
Be part of an experienced multi-disciplinary team in a residential aged care setting

What you’ll need

Minimum level bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy
Current AHPRA registration - full registration
Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
Current Flu & COVID Vaccination evidence
First Aide & CPR
