Designs and coordinates MAP activities, supervising assistants to enhance inpatient mental health and wellbeing.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Lead the delivery of occupation-based groups and individual interventions to inpatients that are recreational, diversional and well-being based as part of the occupational therapy services for the inpatient adult mental health team, within a recovery-orientated framework. Services are delivered under the delegation and in-direct professional supervision of the Senior Occupational Therapist, RBWH.
Supervise consumers participating in the MAP program to ensure their well-being and safety and to maintain a safe working environment.
Provide feedback to the inpatient treatment team regarding consumer attendance and participation in inpatient setting based activities.
