Deliver exceptional service at one of Brisbane's most refined Japanese dining destinations.

Sushi Room is an intimate and sophisticated Japanese restaurant, renowned for its premium produce, exceptional service and unforgettable dining experiences. Located within the award-winning Calile Hotel precinct on James Street, Sushi Room offers an elevated dining experience where every detail matters.

As part of the St Albans Hospitality Group, you'll be joining a collection of Brisbane's leading hospitality venues, including Hellenika, SK Steak & Oyster and Sunshine. We're passionate about developing great people, creating exceptional guest experiences and providing genuine career opportunities across our business.

We're looking for experienced Section Waiters to join our team on a casual basis. If you're passionate about premium hospitality and enjoy creating memorable dining experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

Your Role

As a Section Waiter, you'll take ownership of your section, delivering warm, attentive and knowledgeable service while creating memorable dining experiences for every guest. You'll work alongside a passionate team in a fast-paced, premium restaurant where exceptional hospitality is at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional food and beverage service within your own section.
Build genuine connections with guests and create memorable dining experiences.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of our food, wine and beverage offerings.
Work closely with the management team to deliver seamless service.
Support and mentor junior team members when required.
Maintain exceptional presentation and attention to detail.
Ensure service standards are consistently delivered throughout every shift.
Contribute to a positive, professional and team-focused culture.

About You

You'll bring:

Previous experience as a Section Waiter in a quality restaurant.
A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Strong food, wine and beverage knowledge.
A warm, professional and engaging personality.
The ability to remain calm and organised in a busy service.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Full working rights in Australia.
A current RSA Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
