We’re seeking a Major Projects & Innovation Lead to drive the successful delivery of high-value, complex client projects while leading the development and implementation of innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency, automation, and service excellence.
This role bridges client needs, internal capability, and future-focused operational improvements—helping the business remain competitive, agile, and aligned with evolving industry demands.
What you’ll be doing

Lead delivery of major client projects across upstream, terminals, and specialist services

Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver on time, within budget, and to quality standards

Manage risk, compliance, and safety across the project lifecycle

Maintain clear reporting and stakeholder alignment internally and with clients

Identify and implement opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve processes

Lead development and rollout of digital tools, systems, and operational improvements

Partner with IT, operations, and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions

Engage with clients to understand needs and translate them into tailored solutions

Improve client experience, turnaround times, and relationship outcomes

Lead or support innovation initiatives, proposals, and strategic projects

Identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement across workflows

Support change management, training, and adoption of new systems and processes

Contribute to strategic planning, service development, and business growth initiatives

Stay across emerging technologies and industry trends to support innovation
Qualifications
What you’ll bring

Experience in project management, operations, engineering, or innovation-focused roles

Proven ability to deliver complex or large-scale projects
-
Exposure to automation tools, digital systems, or process improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma desirable)

Strong client engagement skills with confidence working with senior stakeholders
