We're excited to welcome a Signwriter into our team and reach new heights.
Key Responsibilities:
· Consult with clients to understand requirements, review designs, sketches, and written briefs, and confirm sign specifications
· Produce signage layouts and graphics using design software and digital sign-making equipment
· Create fabricated signs by measuring layouts, calculating letter proportions, and preparing surfaces for application
· Produce works such as murals, screen-printed graphics and custom artwork for vehicles
· Install signage across a range of materials including brick, metal, timber, glass, and plastic surfaces
· Construct and assemble dimensional signage elements
· Estimate project costs including materials, labour, and production time
· Assist with or perform installation of signage, including working at heights or on scaffolding when required
· Install completed signs on-site in various indoor and outdoor locations
Skills and Experience Required:
AQF Certificate III including at least 2 years of on-the-job-training
or
AQF Certificate IV
or
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the signwriting or film industries.
+ Proven experience in preparing signage in software systems and physically installing signage and film media
+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills
