Sanity Cleaning Services is looking for an experienced, reliable and detail-focused cleaner to join our close-knit family-run business servicing the Gympie and Mary Valley areas.
We provide professional cleaning services to private households, NDIS clients, Aged Care clients and commercial properties.
This role is suited to someone who already has professional cleaning experience, understands the standard expected in a professional cleaning environment and is looking for regular ongoing weekday work.
About the Role
You will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning services across a variety of client homes and commercial properties throughout Gympie and the Mary Valley.
Where possible, we provide our cleaners with regular ongoing clients so you can become familiar with the property, the client's requirements and the cleaning routine.
While previous professional cleaning experience is essential, you must also be willing to follow Sanity Cleaning Services' established cleaning procedures, methods and client-specific checklists.
We value consistency and quality and expect all team members to follow our systems rather than simply completing cleans according to their own preferred methods.
Duties May Include
- General domestic cleaning
- Laundry and general housekeeping tasks
- NDIS and Aged Care domestic assistance
- Commercial and office cleaning
- Deep Cleans and Spring Cleans
- Specialty Cleans such as builder, pre and post sale and hoarder cleans.
- Communicating professionally with clients and our office team
- Travelling between regular clients throughout Gympie and the Mary Valley

- Be friendly, respectful and professional in clients' homes
- Have good communication skills
- Respect client privacy and confidentiality
- Be comfortable working in homes with pets
- Be available Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:00pm
- Be available for an immediate start
- Be willing to travel between clients throughout Gympie and the Mary Valley
Essential Requirements
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Reliable and roadworthy vehicle
- Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- Reliable mobile phone
- Previous professional cleaning experience
- Contactable professional references
This is not an entry-level cleaning position.
We are specifically looking for someone who already understands professional cleaning standards, works efficiently, notices the small details and can consistently deliver a high standard of service.

Employment Options
We are open to applications from experienced cleaners seeking either:
- Casual employment, or

Subcontractor rates and requirements will be discussed with suitable applicants.
Hours
Up to approximately 25 hours per week.
Applicants must have availability Monday to Friday between approximately 7:00am and 4:00pm.
Hours may vary depending on client bookings and service requirements.
