Due to further company growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mastercam offline programmer to join our CAD\CAM team.
About the role
The role will be to provide support in a range of duties to help the smooth operation of our manufacturing departments.
- Generate accurate, high quality, and timely programs using Mastercam for 3, 4 and 5 axis machining centres.
- Generate workshop documentation, setup sheets, and process instructions.
- Design, model, and program fixturing requirements.
- Working closely with management, engineers, and machine operators to provide and take feedback on all aspects of production.
- Research, understand and introduce new tooling, fixturing, and programming techniques.
- Help drive a culture of continuous improvement.
About You
We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic team player with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Who is also –
- Familiar with all aspects of Mastercam, toolpaths, design, simulation, machine building, post maintenance etc.
- Fully trade qualified.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft office software for shopfloor documentation.
- Familiarity with Solidworks and using ERP systems would be an advantage.
- 3D fixture design
Salary will be based on experience, with super and overtime.
