Cardiac Investigations Unit / Cardiac Services / Surgical Service Group / Townsville University Hospital

About your opportunity

The purpose of this role is to deliver cardiac physiology services within the Cardiac Investigations Unit. This includes detailed clinical assessment, patient education, intervention and/or management within and interprofessional context.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

Salary range: $79,051 to $116,189 p.a. (HP3)
4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

Possession of a science based tertiary degree from a recognised tertiary institute with a strong human physiology component and eligibility for membership with a relevant professional association or organisation.
Whilst not mandatory, relevant additional qualification or evidence of considerable professional development in cardiac clinical measurements would be well regarded. Expertise in Echocardiography, Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices or Electrophysiology are highly desirable.
The position may be required to work across any of the sites / facilities within the Townsville Hospital & Health service based on current service needs and priorities.
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
