HT Barbershop is a professional, standards-driven barbershop.
We're recruiting two experienced Senior Barbers who take pride in their craft, client experience, and professionalism.
This is a long-term opportunity for a barber who wants stability, growth, and a serious work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their haircut, beard grooming and styling preferences.
- Assess clients' hair type, facial features and grooming requirements to recommend suitable styles.
- Cut, trim, taper, fade and style hair using scissors, clippers, razors and trimmers.
- Perform traditional and contemporary barbering services, including skin fades, beard shaping, moustache trimming and hot towel shaves.
- Shampoo, condition and prepare hair where required.
- Perform hair colouring, grey blending and other barbering treatments where requested.
- Recommend suitable hair and beard care products and provide grooming advice.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic and safe workstation by cleaning and sanitising tools and equipment.
- Manage client appointments, process payments and maintain accurate client records.
- Build long-term client relationships by delivering consistent, high-quality service.
- Assist in mentoring junior team members and contribute to maintaining a positive team culture.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 3 years' barbering experience in a busy barbershop.
- Demonstrated expertise in modern and classic barbering techniques.
- Strong clipper, scissor and razor skills.
- Experience performing beard grooming and traditional shaving services.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional presentation, reliability and strong attention to detail.
- Relevant barbering or hairdressing qualification (desirable).
