Capital Supplier Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Truck Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers across the ACT and surrounding regions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles to transport a variety of goods, including bulky and potentially sensitive materials, while maintaining strict adherence to road safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
This role requires a high level of responsibility, as you will be entrusted with ensuring that all deliveries are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with delivery schedules. You will also be expected to carry out routine vehicle inspections, maintain accurate delivery documentation, and communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams.
The position involves both driving and physical handling of goods, requiring the ability to safely load, secure, and unload cargo using appropriate equipment. Attention to detail is essential to ensure correct documentation, compliance with load limits, and the safe condition of goods during transit.

What We Offer
We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000, commensurate with skills and experience, along with a full-time, ongoing position that provides job stability. Responsibilities
● Manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading
● Loading and unloading vehicles using appropriate lifting and tipping equipment
● Ensuring compliance with safety requirements at all times
● Performing routine vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness
● Estimating load weights and ensuring safe distribution in line with legal requirements
● Securing and covering loads to prevent damage or loss
● Verifying delivery documentation and inspecting goods
● Obtaining proof of delivery and maintaining accurate records
● Operating heavy vehicles requiring an appropriate class of licence
What we are looking for in the candidate
● AQF Certificate II or III (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant field
● At least 1 year of relevant work experience as a Truck Driver
● Valid Australian Heavy Vehicle Driver’s Licence (e.g., HR, HC or MC class, depending on vehicle requirements) or an equivalent overseas licence that can be transferred
● Good understanding of road safety regulations, load restraint, and transport compliance requirements
● Ability to perform routine vehicle safety checks and maintain accurate records
● Physically fit and capable of loading and unloading goods safely
