Role Overview

The Loan Support Officer (LSO) supports the Loan Support Team and Senior Loans Support Manager to deliver high-quality, customer-focused service across all post-settlement activities.

This role is responsible for handling customer enquiries within defined service level agreements (SLAs), maintaining accurate loan records, and ensuring seamless administration across the loan lifecycle.

It’s a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment — balancing volume, accuracy and customer care, while contributing to operational excellence

Key Accountabilities

Manage post-settlement enquiries (phone & email) within SLA
Process loan variations, discharges and documentation updates
Maintain accurate loan and system records
Support construction loans and progress drawdowns
Assist customers and brokers with enquiries and transactions
Ensure compliance with AML/CTF and internal policies

About You

Experience in financial services, ideally in residential/commercial lending
At least 1 year customer service experience in credit or lending environments
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Solid systems capability across core banking systems, Outlook and Excel
Understanding of financial services legislation and lending practices
