Part Time - 33 hours per fortnight
$37.97 Gross per hour + Superannuation

About the Opportunity

If you enjoy meeting people from around Australia and overseas and inspiring them to stay and experience the many attractions of Glenelg Shire, then the Portland Visitor Information Centre has an exciting opportunity available for you to join our team.

This part-time role offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant visitor focused environment while contributing to a positive first impression of our region.

If you’re passionate about great customer service, enjoy sharing what makes Glenelg Shire special and would like to play a role in creating memorable visitor experiences, we’d love to hear from you.

The Visitor Information Centre operates 7 days per week with shifts rostered across the centres opening hours, including some weekends and public holidays, making flexibility and reliability essential.

What you need to Succeed

Excellent customer service skills.
Strong local knowledge of Portland and surrounds.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Enjoy working in a team environment.
Curious and enjoy learning.
