Join us as an Operating Supervisor, leading a team within our Potroom operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production. This shift-based leadership role is ideal for someone passionate about safety, team development, and driving operational excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate production activities to achieve operational targets.
Lead crews to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient performance.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Coach and develop team members to build capability and performance.
Facilitate team communication and engagement forums.
Provide technical support, problem-solving, and process oversight.
Maintain quality standards and ensure compliance requirements are met.

Our Portland Smelter is a joint venture between Alcoa of Australia (55%), CITIC (22.5%) and Marubeni Aluminium Australia (22.5%). Alcoa manages the day-to-day operations at the smelter and we produce approximately 19 per cent of Australia’s total aluminium production in Portland.
