An exciting and rewarding opportunity is available for a suitably qualified Lymphoedema Clinician to join the Chronic & Complex Care team at Portland District Health.
You are responsible for delivering safe and effective clinical care that requires a higher level of clinical decision making that is relevant to your specialty of practice. You contribute to quality, safety and risk management programs for the division of Primary Care Services. You contribute to an environment that is conductive to person catered care which fosters a culture of consumer engagement and partnership.
This position is KPI driven and will be subject to performance review at 12 monthly intervals.
About you:
- Registered Nurse or Allied Health professional with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency and holds current registration.
- Post Graduate clinical qualifications in speciality area or willingness to undertake further study - desirable
- Membership of an appropriate professional association - desirable.
- Clinical knowledge, skills in clinical specialty.
- Demonstrated sound advanced clinical assessment and analysis skills and knowledge, and the ability to implement indicated treatments in speciality area of practice.
- Demonstrated level of nursing skills, which is easily identified as a role model of clinical competence.
- Demonstrated understanding of the needs, issues and sensitivities of people from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated computer literacy, including ability to access and utilise organisational IT systems and emerging technologies, which are relevant to the completion of clinical care.
