Full Job Description

Augusta Quarries operates multiple quarry sites across South Australia, supplying high-quality aggregates and materials to projects state-wide. We are a family-owned company known for safety, reliability and strong operational standards.

We are now seeking a Quarry Administrator with WHS administration experience to support daily site operations and ensure compliance across our quarry activities.

The Opportunity

This role provides a mix of office administration, compliance tasks and quarry operational support. You will work closely with our Quarry Manager, Supervisors and the broader WHS team to maintain accurate records, support onsite activities, and assist in keeping our operations safe, compliant and well-organised.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to quarry operations and management
Manage weighbridge data, dockets, production reporting and stock records
Assist with procurement, purchasing, contractor onboarding and compliance
Coordinate plant and equipment maintenance records and inspections
Support incident investigations, safety meetings and audit preparation
General office duties including filing, data entry, document control and scheduling
Assist with WHS documentation, inductions, training records and safety reporting

About You

Administration experience within quarrying, mining, or civil construction a must
Minimum of 3+ years administration experience in quarrying, mining, or civil construction industries required
Experience in basic WHS documentation including safety records, compliance reporting and administrative support
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and the ability to work with site crews and management
Good understanding of safety systems, inductions, risk assessments and compliance requirements
High level computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Xero)
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Relevant WHS or business administration qualifications (desirable)
Australian work rights required for this position
