Full Job Description

We are currently seeking compassionate and experienced General Practice Nurses to join our team. The General Practice Nurse plays a vital role in delivering patient-centered care and supporting our healthcare professionals in providing the highest standard of medical services.

Responsibilities:

Assisting healthcare providers with patient assessments, examinations, and treatments.
Administering vaccinations and medications as prescribed by physicians.
Performing clinical procedures, such as wound care, ear syringing, and venipuncture.
Conducting health screenings and assessments, including chronic disease management and preventive care.
Providing patient education and counselling on various health topics, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and disease prevention.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records system (Best Practice).
Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and referrals.
Participating in quality improvement initiatives and compliance with clinical guidelines and protocols.

Qualifications:

Registered or enrolled Nurse qualification and current registration with AHPRA.
Previous experience working as a General Practice Nurse or in a primary care setting preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems (Best Practice preferrably).
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
