Wood is currently sourcing an experienced Painter & Blaster for an upcoming opportunity in our maintenance team in Hastings, Victoria.

We are looking for a candidate with strong commitment to safety, someone who enjoys working in a team, self-motivated and can prioritise work to meet deadlines.

Perform abrasive blasting to clean and prepare surfaces for painting

Apply protective coatings and finishes according to specifications

Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication (Surface Finishing or Surface Preparation & Coating) preferred

Construction Induction white card

High Risk Work Licence – WP (Preferred)

Drivers Licence

Experience working in a multi-disciplined team highly regarded (Sheetmetal/insulating & Painting)

Industrial experience (Preferred)

Demonstrated high commitment to safety

Nace CIP 1 or 2 highly desirable

In addition, successful candidates will be expected to complete a Wood pre-employment medical and provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate.
