At Unita, we build spaces where people love to work, shop, stay and connect – from high-end retail and hospitality, to health and commercial fitouts across Australia. But great spaces don't build themselves. Great teams do.
People have always been at the heart of what we do. From humble beginnings to national growth, our ambition has never outweighed our values. We're fuelled by a shared passion to build better, together.
About the role
As a Project Manager at Unita, you’re the on-field captain – bringing leadership, structure and direction throughout delivery while balancing programme, quality, commercial outcomes and client expectations every step of the way, ensuring every project is delivered to a standard we're proud to put our name on.
You'll work closely with Site Managers, Contracts Administrators, consultants and clients, making practical decisions that keep projects moving while protecting Unita's commercial position. You'll be trusted to identify risks early, solve problems before they escalate, and create confidence for everyone involved.
What you’ll be responsible for:
-
Leading projects from pre-construction through to handover.
- Managing programme, budget, quality, safety and commercial outcomes.
- Building trusted relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Coordinating site teams and internal stakeholders to keep delivery moving.
- Identifying risks early and making practical decisions to protect project outcomes.
- Working closely with Contracts Administrators to manage forecasting, variations, commercial and contractual performance.
- Ensuring projects meet WHSEQ requirements and Unita's quality standards.
- Delivering projects that clients recommend and teams are proud of.
