We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Assistants Special Needs (EASN) for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Belridge Secondary Education Support Centre (ESC) caters for approximately 115 secondary aged students from Years 7-12 with diagnosed disability. Our students are at the forefront and centre of our school operations, and the success of each student is the priority for every member of our staff. As a school we value staff who are committed to making a difference.
Belridge Secondary ESC focuses on achieving the best outcomes for each individual student with Individual Education Planning linked to the West Australian Curriculum as well as ward Scheme Development and Accreditation Network (ASDAN) and Accredited Senior School courses and programs. The ultimate goal for all students is successful independent living and transition from school to work or alternative pathways beyond school. Students are provided with programs in an educationally enhancing environment. Students in Years 7-10 participate in a range of educational programs to enhance their social, emotional and academic growth. Students from Years 11-12 continue this journey and a proportion of this learning takes place in the local and wider community.
Students may participate in community access and work experience programs with enterprise and vocational education being the lynchpin that drives our curriculum to best prepare our students for life beyond school. Education Assistants would be expected to work with students in the classroom, the community and the workplace.
