We’re on the hunt for a Spray Painter and Powder Coater to join our Surface Treatment Team. This role would involve a varied schedule of spray painting and blasting our refuge chambers and powder coating all our steel frames.

About You:

Licenses:

C Class Australian Drivers Licence
Forklift Ticket would be advantageous

Experience:

Preparing surfaces for powder coating
Operating equipment for a batch oven powder coating system
Using an airless spray gun for painting
Knowledge of two pack industrial paint systems – epoxy & polyurethane
Use of blasting equipment
Assisting with touch ups and repairs
Use of hand and power tools
Ensuring that the surrounding work area and workshops are maintained in a clean and safe state
A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
The ability to use initiative when required and take ownership of assigned tasks through to completion
Commitment to safety and quality
