Full Job Description

Flexible working options considered.
26 weeks paid parental leave after one year and 36 weeks after five years continuous service, regardless of gender.
4 weeks annual leave with the option to purchase more.
13 weeks long service leave after seven/ten years.

17% superannuation, with the option to reduce to the minimum super guarantee.

Deliver expert HR advice and coaching to support leaders and resolve complex workplace matters.
Lead People and Culture initiatives, including change and capability development programs, in partnership with key stakeholders.
Salary range: $120,912 – $132,161 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
Hybrid, Nedlands campus.

About the opportunity

Join a strong, values led business partnering team, focussed on client-centred service.
Broaden and deepen your professional experience working in a diverse and complex organisation.
Partner with business areas and provide expert P&C advice to UWA leaders.
Lead change management initiatives and support the implementation of university wide P&C programs and projects.
Collaborate with other P&C functional teams and contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

About you

Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent competency.
Extensive, HR practitioner experience in a large and or complex organisation.
Demonstrated experience leading end to end employee case management, including conflict / dispute resolution and performance management.
Excellent planning and organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in a range of relevant software applications (i.e. Microsoft Office particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and experience with HR/payroll management systems).
